Denise is a Lawyer at Maddens Lawyers, joining the Litigation and Class Actions team in 2024.

Denise grew up in New Zealand and Hong Kong, and later moved to Australia to complete her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the Australian National University, and work as a lawyer dealing with mostly transactional matters in property and commercial law.

After experiencing different facets of the law, Denise has found her passion within class actions litigation and enjoys advocating for people's rights, engaging in multifaceted and often complex legal issues, and working with a diverse team to address systemic issues or corporate misconduct that may eventuate in the possibility of significant change.

Outside of the office, Denise is a violinist and plays in the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra. She also enjoys travelling, snowboarding and is a keen foodie.
