John is a Senior Lawyer at Maddens Lawyers, joining the team in 2024. He has been practicing personal injury law since 1996 and was a partner at a South West injury firm for 15 years before he started his own boutique law firm. He has experience and expertise in WorkCover, TAC, medical negligence and other personal injury claims.

Now at Maddens Lawyers, John is an integral part of the Personal Injury team. The driving force behind his work is to obtain the best compensation results possible for injured people so that they can rebuild their lives and not be financially disadvantaged by an injury.

Outside of the law, John is a keen Hawthorn fan and operates the shot clock for Portland's Country Basketball League team. He also plays tournament poker, enjoys riding and fixing his old Italian Lambretta Scooter, and is a member of the Promoting Portland group.
