John Cramp

John is a Senior Lawyer at Maddens Lawyers.

With a career spanning nearly three decades, John has dedicated his work to helping injured people secure fair compensation and rebuild their lives with financial security.

John joined Maddens Lawyers in 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience from across the region. He has practiced personal injury law since 1996, including 15 years as a partner at a South West injury firm before establishing and running his own boutique practice.

His deep expertise covers WorkCover, TAC, medical negligence and a wide range of complex personal injury claims. He is known for his steady, compassionate approach and his ability to guide clients through what is often one of the most stressful periods of their lives.

Outside of law, John is a proud Hawthorn supporter and an active member of the Portland community. He operates the shot clock for Portland's Country Basketball League team, enjoys tournament poker, and spends time riding and restoring his old Italian Lambretta scooter. He is also a member of the Promoting Portland group, reflecting his passion for supporting and strengthening the local community.
