Cayla Bamford

Cayla is a Law Clerk at Maddens Lawyers.

Cayla joined the firm in 2017 as a General Office Assistant, before progressing through roles as a Legal Assistant and now managing her own files.

Cayla’s role involves supporting clients across a broad range of commercial matters. She works with a diverse mix of clients, including farmers, first home buyers and business owners, assisting with matters such as property transactions, farm sales and purchases, wills and powers of attorney, leases, estate planning, subdivisions and contracts. She enjoys the variety her work brings and the opportunity to guide clients through both straightforward and more complex matters.

Cayla values the relationships she builds with clients and the ability to help them achieve their goals. She finds it particularly rewarding to support clients through important life and business decisions, challenging the common perception that commercial and property law is routine or predictable.

Cayla did not set out to pursue a legal career but quickly developed a passion for the field after joining Maddens. After several years of working in the firm, she made the decision to undertake further study and is now in the final year of her Bachelor of Laws.

Before joining Maddens, Cayla worked locally while completing her schooling. She has since been with Maddens for almost a decade, reflecting her long-term commitment to the firm. Outside of work, Cayla enjoys walking with her dog Alfie, spending time with friends and family, and following sport, particularly as a dedicated Geelong supporter.
