Jordan Paunov
Lawyer
BA JD
Jordan is a Lawyer at Maddens Lawyers.
Jordan joined the firm in April 2024 as a Law Graduate before being admitted to practice in 2025 and moving into a Lawyer role. He works in the Litigation department at Maddens Lawyers, with a focus on both class actions and individual commercial litigation matters.Jordan's day-to-day work involves applying the law to a wide range of factual scenarios - something he finds both intellectually rewarding and practically meaningful. He assists with large-scale class action investigations and proceedings, including the Dr Lanzer Class Action and Toyota Class Action. He also works directly with clients on individual disputes, helping them navigate complex issues with clarity and confidence.
Jordan had wanted to be a lawyer since childhood, drawn early to the idea of advocacy and problem-solving. He completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne, developing a strong academic foundation that now underpins his practical work in litigation.
Outside of the office, Jordan enjoys reading and distance running. He is also an active member of the community, serving as a Board member of the South West Academy of Sport, a local not-for-profit organisation supporting young athletes.
