Denise Wong

Denise is an Associate at Maddens Lawyers.

With experience across multiple countries and legal systems, Denise brings a broad, globally informed perspective to complex disputes and large-scale litigation.

Denise grew up in both New Zealand and Hong Kong before moving to Australia to complete her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the Australian National University. She began her legal career working in property and commercial law, gaining valuable experience in transactional matters and developing a strong understanding of the commercial realities faced by clients.

After exploring different aspects of practice, Denise discovered her passion for class action litigation. She is driven by the opportunity to advocate for people’s rights, engage with multifaceted and often technically challenging legal issues, and contribute to matters that address systemic problems or corporate misconduct. She values the collaborative nature of class action work and the potential for meaningful, large-scale change.

Outside of the office, Denise is an accomplished violinist and performs with the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra. She always enjoys travelling, snowboarding and exploring new food experiences.
