Arthur's story

Arthur * had a phobia about dentists, but needed dental work and was given a general anaesthetic to get it done. During the procedure a tip of a drill bit being used by the dentist dropped off and was inhaled by Arthur and lodged in his lung. Arthur* required emergency surgery to remove the drill bit from his lung. As a result of the surgery several ribs needed to be broken and he experienced subsequent breathing problems.
