Arthur's story

personal-lawyer

Arthur * had a phobia about dentists, but needed dental work and was given a general anaesthetic to get it done. During the procedure a tip of a drill bit being used by the dentist dropped off and was inhaled by Arthur and lodged in his lung. Arthur* required emergency surgery to remove the drill bit from his lung. As a result of the surgery several ribs needed to be broken and he experienced subsequent breathing problems. Naturally his phobia about dentists only became worse. He was unable to work and incurred medical bills. Maddens Lawyers gathered relevant medical material and were able to negotiate a substantial six figure settlement sum with the lawyers representing the insurance company for the dentist without the need to obtain expert evidence or the issue of court proceedings.
