2013 Snake Valley Bushfire
On 8 January 2013, a fire broke out at a property on Chepstowe/Pitton Road, Chepstowe, west of Snake Valley in Victoria's Western District. Investigations by Maddens Lawyers determined the fire was caused by a faulty tractor, which was being used in the area to harvest wheat.
Maddens Lawyers are now conducting a Class Action on behalf of victims of this fire, to gain compensation for property loss, economic loss and physical inconvenience suffered as a result of the Snake Valley blaze.
Maddens Lawyers has successfully secured millions of dollars in compensation for victims of fires that burnt out communities across Victoria on Ash Wednesday in 1983 and Black Saturday on 7 February 2009. If you, or someone you know was affected by this fire contact Maddens Lawyers.
