LLB (Hons)
Anna is a Senior Lawyer at Maddens Lawyers.
Anna returned to Maddens Lawyers in July 2026, having previously worked with the firm from 2014 to 2022 in the Class Actions and Litigation team. Her return reflects a longstanding connection with the firm and a passion for helping clients through complex and often challenging legal matters.Currently working within the Litigation department, Anna is involved in the Dr Lanzer Class Action. She is also working within the Will Disputes team with this area of law one she is particularly passionate about.
Anna completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Deakin University in Warrnambool, graduating in 2015. While completing her studies, she worked as a Law Clerk at Maddens Lawyers, gaining valuable hands-on experience in large-scale and complex litigation. This early exposure helped shape her legal career and provided a strong foundation for her work in both class actions and dispute resolution.
One of the most memorable matters of Anna's career was the Walla Walla Bushfire Class Action (Weber v Greater Hume Shire Council), in which the Court of Appeal overturned the Supreme Court's decision in favour of the lead plaintiff and group members. The outcome was a significant achievement and reinforced her commitment to advocating for clients in complex litigation. Anna enjoys building genuine relationships with clients and helping them navigate legal processes that can often feel overwhelming. She finds it especially rewarding to achieve outcomes that provide clients with confidence, certainty and the ability to move forward with their lives.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, keeping active and making the most of the outdoors. As a busy mum of four young children, she values maintaining a healthy balance between her professional and family life.
