Her legal career began after Lucy graduated from a public relations and journalism-related arts degree; after adding a Law qualification to her post-nominal, Lucy left Melbourne to return to her Western District home, joining Maddens as an articled clerk in 2007.
Today, Lucy regularly appears before both State and Federal Courts and has also served a number of community roles, including as a volunteer lawyer at the Warrnambool Community Legal Centre, and student mentor through the Victorian Women Lawyers and Barristers association. Lucy is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
In addition to her work with Maddens, Lucy is secretary of the Koroit and District Kindergarten and a board member of Moyne Health Services.
She spends her time outside the office with family, and enjoys horse riding and tending to her hobby farm.
